What makes MaxLyft different from other workout tracking apps?
MaxLyft was built from scratch to be more intuitive, data-driven, and customizable—without the clutter of other apps.
What does Maxlyft cost?
Maxlyft is a paid app. You can select to pay $0.99 per month or $9.99 per year, making us much more affordable than our competitors, who often price their products around $4.99 per month. We are able to provide you with a MUCH lower price, while not leaving out any important features.
How do I create my own workout split?
Use the Split Builder to name your training days and assign custom exercises. You can add and delete exercises at any time.
What is a MASE value?
MASE (Maxlyft Adaptive Strength Engine) is our custom performance metric that calculates your overall training effort based on volume, fatigue, and number of sets. It helps you track progress in a more meaningful way by giving you an overall theoretically max value taking every single set into account.
Can I track cardio and strength workouts?
Yes. MaxLyft allows you to log both strength-based lifts and cardio sessions every day, however you will only get in-depth graphs for your weight-based exercises.
How does the PR Tracker work?
The PR Tracker isolates your personal bests for each lift, separate from your regular workout logs. It updates automatically when new records are hit and displays trends with visual graphs and a history section full of your previous logs.
What’s the purpose of the Calendar page?
The Calendar is your training hub. It allows you to log full workouts, track rest times, view past sessions, and automatically calculate your MASE score—all from one place.
How do I track body weight and measurements?
Go to the Measurements Page to log body weight, body fat %, protein intake, and specific body part measurements like biceps, shoulders, and core. Simply just enter a new value and the graph and history log will update accordingly.
Can I edit or delete past workout logs?
Yes. All logs are editable and removable. You’re in full control of your history and data and you have the ability to go back to past days or go forward to future days to add, edit, or delete exercises and sets.
What happens if I miss a workout?
You can simply select Rest Day for that day which is always an option in the drop down regardless of your split. Then you can look back to see what you worked last and pick up where you left off for your next session!
Is my data saved if I switch devices?
Yes. All your data is stored securely in iCloud and syncs across all of your devices as long as you’re signed into your account. This also means that only YOU have access to your data. Ourselves at Maxlyft and any other 3rd parties do not have access to anything you enter into our app.
